As a Bay Area Coach ice skating coach, I am a skater-centric coach and love being part of the individual skater’s goals and journey to their development on the ice. I coach competitive skaters, testing skaters or goal-oriented recreational ice skaters.
My ice skating started as child, in group classes and instantaneously fell in love with ice skating. At my ice arena, I performed in numerous ice skating shows. I would train with a show clown when he was off tour from Ice Capades.
My competitive skating was in singles. I trained with coaches in California and Colorado. Colorado was a wonderful time training with Carlo Fassi.
Ice skating is a journey, with goals you set to achieve the freedom you feel when you ice skate.
I coach the sport I love and find joy with my students when they achieve their accomplishments. The ice brings such a freedom when you are on it.
My students have competed at: Showcase Nationals, Excel Festival, Virtual High School, Collegiate Levels, Inclusive Skating World Championships, USFS and ISI local and national competitions.
Coaching Credentials: USFS Level 1 Coach, ISI, GR Rated, SSM Rated, ISI Bronze Judge, St. Moritz Board Member, US Figure Skating DEI Task Force, on the ice 20+ and Teaching 10 + years.
